Our Team

You might call Lisa Code a “litigator in a lab coat”. With a Master’s Degree in Biology, Lisa instinctively puts each case under a microscope. She best serves her clients by simplifying complex situations.

Lisa brings enthusiasm, dedication, and experience in tackling diverse liability claims. Her experience extends to representing insureds in commercial general liability, product liability, occupiers’ liability, property damage claims, and automobile tort litigation.  She enjoys using her analytical skills in providing coverage opinions. Lisa also has experience with pursuing subrogated claims on behalf of her insurance clients. She has conducted trials before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice as well as trials and appeals at the Divisional Court.  

Lisa lived in “K-W” before it was cool – when people called it “Kitchener-Waterloo”. Born and raised in the area, Lisa continues to call it home with her husband and two daughters.  Lisa completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Western Ontario – commuting from home where she simultaneously raised her children. To say she is a driven multi-tasker would be a vast understatement! 

Outside of the office, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
