Dmitry romanticism is notorious. After 13 years of in-house counselling in several industries, teaching law at a law school, and litigation practice in Russia, his search for the rule of law brought him to Canada.

For everyone else, it appears that Dmitry is very focussed and confident in everything he does, but don’t be deluded: he is not. As a dreamer and an experimenter, he hardly ever believes he is right. But his Russian rigour and straightforwardness previously made clients, students, and, most notably, courts believe that he was.

An eternal student, Dmitry is a fast worker once he learns how to work in yet another field (or country). This comes at an expense, of course. So, don’t be surprised if Dmitry does not understand the joke that you told him until next week or so.
