As the eldest daughter, Avani learned early how to manage family drama, negotiate peace treaties, and solve problems. She brings that same approach to her legal work, along with a sharp legal mind and a strong ability to connect with people. Avani values clear communication and building strong relationships with clients and colleagues, and brings an approachable and personable style to her work. She has hands-on experience drafting pleadings and motions in civil matters and has competed in six moot and mock trial competitions, developing strong written and oral advocacy skills.
Avani also serves as a board member of Steer Friends, a non-profit supporting individuals with disabilities and complex needs. She enjoys being involved in work that has a meaningful impact in the community.
When she is not working, Avani enjoys dancing, reading, lifting weights, and finding Toronto’s next great restaurant. She is always up for trying somewhere new, especially if there is good food involved.
